"Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.  The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.  This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future."

"The ocean view is really heartfelt. To get to the city center, you have to walk and then take the cable car. Personally think the hotel is fine, but just a little old. The main reason is that the price is not good. Sorry for the price of 2000 nights (late October, out of high season). Lower than expected. Reasonable price 1200."

"Outdated facilities, small rooms, poor sound insulation, the crowds in the streets have been talking about in the middle of the night, the music of the hotel restaurant awakened me in the morning. In the city center, close to the cathedral, the service is acceptable, the breakfast is rich, and the large terrace on the third floor is beautiful. In general, the price/performance ratio is in taormina in August. It is fine if I booked a hotel on the same day as I did. If it is a low season, there should be many better choices."

"The location is on the hillside of the ancient city, with the ancient castle in the background. You can see the ancient Greek theater on the top floor, and it is only a 1-minute walk to the central street of the ancient city. The room facilities are modern and generally superior rooms are relatively small and suitable for one person. You can see the sunrise from the balcony room."

"We spent a fantastic week in this hotel. It was amazing to have direct access to a beautiful private beach as well as an infinity pool. There were plenty of loungers to relax. The location was great, right on the sea side and close to the train station. The shuttle service provided by the hotel that takes you into Taormina was also excellent. The staff were all super friendly too. However I felt that there was a lack of affordable meal options and the breakfast offering became monotonous after some days. Overall a very special place that I look forward to returning to one day."

"The services in all aspects are in place, and the breakfast is so rich that I didn’t even eat it all during my two-day stay. Watching the sunrise on the top floor is also great. It happened to be a sunny day. Not only did I see the perfect sun rise, I also heard the chirping of birds and the harmonious sound of the waves. I saw trains and cars passing by. Next time the weather is warmer, I must experience the rooftop view. swimming pool 🏊"

"The location and the view of the hotel are impeccable and the rooms have unrivaled sea and mountain views. The facilities are actually very good, but the strange bathroom shower head design makes the bath extremely awkward. The hotel is the old grand theatre, and it is the town that continues to go down. The distances are just right. The beach is not good, but the beaches in southern Italy are the same. It is the kind of large-grained sandstone beach, which is very ground. The only thing that I feel dissatisfied is that the Italians are really too playable. The party is still playing music loudly at 12:30 in the evening. It is not a complaint that it is estimated that it will not be closed several times. Parking is also a bit difficult, we all parked in the parking lot lumbi garage about 2 km away, and then take the shuttle bus, convenient."

"The quality of the hotel is very good. The best hotel, service, facilities and even the fragrance of this trip are great, basically the five-star level. The location is very good, a few minutes to the main street, very quiet. The room is large, the breakfast is simple, but on the top floor, the sea is invincible. The only pity is that most of the hotel rooms should still have no sea view, mainly due to location problems."
