"This place is a perfect getaway for those who need a getaway from the hustle and bustle of their daily life. We had a warm welcome from the staff upon arrival (about 40mins boat ride from main island) and had a buggy send us to the rooms. Room was spacious. Dinner from the main restaurant was great. Staff were extremely friendly. Would recommend snorkelling in the morning from 8am onwards when the tides aren't too low. I was lucky enough to spot a turtle! Beware of crazy sandflies though. We got bitten real bad."

"Gaya Island Resort is a posh way to end a two-week trip of roughing it around Sabah. Rooms are located in exotic tropical setting, with wildlife nearby. Activities are fun way to explore the island, especially the night walk, when we saw snakes and lizards. Swimming is relaxing at the pool but not so great in the sea unless you are snorkeling or kayaking. Not too much plastic in the water but it still plagues even this beautiful setting. Note that once you arrive on the island, you are pretty much isolated from Kota Kinabalu unless you want to pay extra for a boat ride."

"My partner and I just had three nights in a Palm Villa at Gayana Marine Resort! What a place to stay…. Simply amazing! Right from the start everything was perfect. We arrived at the ferry and the staff were really helpful. The ferry left on time and took less than 30 mins. On arrival we had cold towels and a drink. Everything was fully explained by the staff and we were taken to our room about 30 minutes early. The Palm Villa was gorgeous!!! If you can spend a little more and have this room it’s worth it!! I was speechless when I walked in. Super clean and tidy! The online photos do not do this resort justice!! We ate at the Macac Restaurant. There was lots to choose from on the menu and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Breakfast is included and everything was made fresh to order. There was also a buffet which had pastries, fruit, cereal and lots more! We made use of the water sports which are also included. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. Lots available and you just turn up and ask, no need to book! Every single member of staff was lovely!! Everyone greets you, is very polite and they can’t do enough to help. Their English was impressive! We had only booked two nights but loved it so much we extended our stay!!! I highly recommend this place and hope the management see this review to pass on to staff. "The location was great and the staff super friendly. A part of the beach was reserved for hotel guests and was not overcrowded. The team was trying its best to pick up all plastic in the morning from the beach but unfortunately during the day more was coming. People should take more care themselves. You can go snorkeling at the beach but to arrive the corals you need to wait for the tide and have to be a good swimmer. Then it’s beautiful out there. The breakfast was great and a good combination between buffet and menu. Overall we can recommend it for 2 nights. Don’t forget your mosquito repellent and bites relief. We saw several Gerrys;) - beautiful creatures."

"The rooms are definitely not comparable to those in the main city, but you can see that the hotel has tried its best to provide facilities. First of all, the celcom network is OK, but the hotlink is basically unusable. Secondly, the hotel's wifi, which only covers the lobby, is not very powerful. The hotel even provides mahjong, projection and chess for guests to kill time on the island. Breakfast and dinner are both buffets, which are enough to eat. There will be many guests on the island during the day, which is quite noisy, but the service staff are nice."

"Love the room.. They provide so many things in the room.. Got free wifi and netflix acc for us as a cust to enjoy a movie with friends and family 🫶🏻 Also the bed was so comfortable❤️ and the seaview in morning was superb !! Thank you mapplehouse, will repeat to stay here again soon !!"

"Good service offer over WhatsApp, swiftly response to answer my queries. Providing clear guide on how to do self check in, and returning keys. The room is clean and well maintained, spacious. The only suggestion is why not providing WIFI, and the toilet ventilation can be improved, have no idea after toilet flushing, the sting smell stay. Overall is good, especially good guidance and response. Ty!"

Nice and cozy studio… beautiful and clean modern studio.. nice view to the ocean, and below is psar besar KK.. got many eateries below and nearby the room, got numerous choice too. Imago mall by walking distance. Nice pool. Nice ambiance. Unfortunately, we coming on rainy season, and failed to capture the sunset view as its cloudy. 🥹 Good customer service, reply any msg in short time. Just got to take the access card given by staff and key in the password at the secured door. Nice experience tho Once we entered the house, smells good, the staff already open the light, and aircond, plays nice and cozy music on utube.. got microwave and washer and dryer too… easy to use.. niceee ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I booked for my husband birthday vacation♥️ Got fan and fridge, water heater, iron and board, hair dryer, sabah tea and le minerale.. provided clothes hanger and suspension, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner..… Got Sweet token from the owner🥰 The shore got multiple other luxury choice of room to rent, but i choose Seaview Bliss as suitable for me as a couple and as the memorable gift for my beloved ones. And it got way better and cozy modern ID.. the real view is the same as the picture provided🤭 It worth every penny⭐️mybe a bit pricey 🥲 but yeah, tq Seaview bliss team⭐️"
