"we got the corner sofa room, very spacious with 2 queen beds next to each other, very good with my 2 kids together. location was very nice, we drove and there are a few parking areas behind the hotel which was convinent. but they dont clean the room for you or enter the room at all so its good for insecure guest i guess. towel not changing was a problem for my wife...."
"the room we booked was a little narrow for us (2adults&1toddler) but we still managed to sleep together in a double-sized bed. They have ALL THE BASIC AMENITIES: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels, toothbrushes/paste, and tissue. Appliances included in our room were the air purifier/filter, air conditioner, tv, hair dryer, and super mini-fridge. THAT's ALL. IF YOU LOOK FOR OR NEED hair ties/ razor/ hair brush/ cotton&buds/ lotion/ face wash/ bathing towel/ hotel pajamas, BRING FOR YOURSELF. they don't have these free amenities.
overall, our stay is peacefully good and well-enough. the price is cheap so we don't expect too much and is worth our stay.❤️"
"This time I stayed in a single room. The room is very small and even a slightly larger suitcase cannot be opened flat. Although the room is small, the amenities are provided as much as possible with a variety of styles, even pajamas. It's a pity that there are no simple facial toiletries. The service staff are very polite and patient! Located in the most lively area of Tenjin, it is very convenient to go shopping."

"Self-service check-in and check-out. I didn't see any service staff the whole time, which was a very novel experience.
The room is very large, it is a two-bedroom and two-living room apartment. The split-level design of the living room is a bit confusing. In fact, the size of a normal living room is enough for a large family to live in.
The hygiene is slightly worse than other hotels in Japan, but it is acceptable. Towels and toiletries are provided in sufficient quantities.
There is also a Japanese garden near the downstairs, which is marked on the map. You can go there when you have time.
The disadvantage is that you cannot store your luggage at the self-service check-in. You must leave with your luggage at 11 o'clock, otherwise the door will not open. The luggage storage at Hakata Station is often full, so it is recommended to arrange the itinerary reasonably if you want to play around the surrounding area after checking out."
"The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Tenjin Station. And there are many restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Local people also like to go there for dinner and drinks too.
We 3 people got a room with a bunk bed. The toilet and bathroom is designed for disabled people in which you may put a wheelchair for shower. The disadvantage is that when we take shower in the bathtub, the water splashes out to make half of the toilet wet. Others are fine. The toothbrush sets can be taken in the counter.
We took a breakfast in the hotel on the final day. Taste ok and the dinner table surrounded by the books is excellent. Many local people are there!"
"The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka is located in a prime location in the city center, adjacent to the Hakata business district and Canal City, and a 5-minute walk to the airport. The guest rooms are modern and luxurious, and the high-rise view rooms have a panoramic view of the city skyline. The intelligent temperature control system and the whole house smart home enhance the comfort. The executive lounge provides tea breaks and business support all day long, and the rooftop outdoor swimming pool overlooks the night view with ingenuity. In terms of dining, ”THE CUT” Teppanyaki specializes in Wagyu cuisine, and ”Ryugin” presents authentic Kaiseki aesthetics, both of which are recommended by Michelin. The hotel is equipped with a children's club, executive concierge and free airport transfers (need to be confirmed in advance), and the service is meticulous. Although it is positioned as high-end, it is indeed a good choice for business and leisure due to its scarce landscape and complete facilities."
"The top floor of the hotel has a great view of the hot spring.
Breakfast is delicious but if repeated daily it will be a bit boring.
So if you stay for multiple days in a row be careful not to eat the same breakfast every day.
The hotel has a shuttle bus to the MTR station.
If you take a taxi from the airport to this hotel should not cost about five thousand yen.
The room can have youtube
There is also Netflix
The hotel is very clean nearby two have large supermarkets
There are four or five highly rated restaurants in a residential area five minutes ahead
There is a canteen in the small shopping mall next to the hotel"
"a typical 5stqr hotel with very good services. all staffs are nice, helpful and professional. the room is big and very clean. i will definitely come back again"
"Stayed for 3 nights with 2 kids, the hotel had children amenities provided upon check-in and this made the kids felt welcoming. Hotel is located at around 5-min walk from Hakata Station, yet it is not along the Main Street which feels like enjoying the proximity to train station but with a quiet neighborhood around."
"A slightly aged hotel, but still very functional, spacious and comfortable.
Our plan also included the access to the GRAND CLUB whole day, which provides breakfast, refreshments during the day, and all kinds of wine paired with a good collection of food at night at their cocktail hour. And yes all the food in breakfast and at the cocktail hour were great.
The location is fine, though you do need to travel back to hakata station or tenjin station depending on your itinerary"

CConstance YapCroom hotel is a SUPERB 👍🏼hotel! The receptionists were accommodating and helpful, and the room itself was warm and cozy. All of the facilities in the room were kept very clean too. EXTREMELY good locations surrounded with cafe/24hr Aeo supermarket/convinient store/ few minutes walks to Kushida shrine/Canal city mall and many more!
We will definitely will stay in this hotel again : )

Zzh3usFull marks for Dormy Inn, we had impeccable service from the service team over there this time round. As we were using them as a platform to travel throughout Kyushu, we had left some baggage with them while we were away. They were nice enough to keep the baggage for us after they had validated that we have subsequent booking.
The breakfast roast beef was 10/10 best ever, they had an expensive Balmuda Toaster which allows for your toast to be fluffy while crispy and they have a Japanese style breakfast spread consisting of small plates including Mentaiko and Salmon Tartare.
Location is close to Hakata Station, it takes about 12 minutes walk to reach there. Just opposite is FUK Coffee, they serve fantastic expresso coffee and just down the street on the left is an AEON MAX VALUE 24 hour supermarket with cheap bentos, sushi, alcohol and sashimi available. Moving more on the left side direction is a shopping street with Daiso and other amenities.
I have to say that in general, Dormy Inn’s public baths – onsen facilities are top notch, they do not close after midnight (other than the sauna), the shower head is $300 in price from Refa and their hot water mixer taps are not press per use, but those normal ones you just turn on and it runs the water. The public bath is 10/10 fantastic.
During our last night there, Super Typhoon Kong-Rey was in the area and we had huge rainfall. Dormy Inn lent us umbrellas and it was the first time we experienced the fact that many of the guests decided to stay in and not go out. The public bath was full and the free ice cream was almost gone! The free noodles given out from 2130 – 2300 was so full they ran out of noodles and they were nice enough to give the guest that missed out instant versions so that they did not need to leave the hotel in the rain.
Overall I feel that they deserve full 5 stars, I really enjoyed my stay there and wish the staff all the best and thank you for the service!

GGuest UserClean and big hotel room. Our family of 5 stayed in a spacious room with 3 large double beds. We can easily open our 3 large suitcases with plenty of space to walk around. Friendly and professional staff. Easy to park downstairs and convenient to retrieve the car. It’s automatic parking, you just drive the car into the elevator with assistance from a staff and it’ll park for you. There’s a Lawson right across from the hotel. Coin laundry with 5 washers and 5 dryers on the 3/F. There’s also an onsen for hotel guests on the 3/F.
DDenna HeryatiWe stayed for 4 nights in residential room which provides kitchen facilities (we only used the kettle) as well as washer/dryer (which we used often and really grateful for this service). We stayed here too about a week ago and hotel provides free luggage storage (for our large suitcase) for our 2nd check in.
Location is excellent with bus terminal and subway station very close by. Also surrounded by department stores, restaurants as well as Yatai.
Reception staff always so attentive; they were also able to book us a taxi to the airport for our morning flight.
Will definitely stay here for my future trips to Fukuoka.
AAnonymous UserExcellent location. Good variety of buffet breakfast items, however lack of insufficient staff for food and utensils replacement and table cleaning. A long queue for entry and getting food. Green tea machines have been broken down for a few days, but no alternative individual tea bag provided. It needs to be improved.
NNattidaOverall condition and the location of the hotel is good. Just 15 mins walk from hakata station. But the wifi is something they need to look into. I couldn't connect to wifi at all during the peak time that I guess a lot of guests connected at the same time.

BBonnieExcept being located in Tenjin with easy access to many food and shopping areas, I have nothing to recommend this hotel. Service is minimal and they even charge you to assist you making a call for taxi, never experienced anything like that, omg.
AAmirahGion stn exit 2. No escalator or lift at that exit. This is an unmanned hotel. Self service check in and check out using tablets. Had trouble checking in because could not find my reservation even after trying a few times. Called the operator using the link in the tablet and he helped resolved immediately.
1 laundry machine located next to the entrance. Free coffee from 7am to 8pm. Free breakfast too. Free towel and toileteries. Only 1 lift but I never had to wait long. No room cleaning service even if stay more than 1 night but can return and replace towel. I stayed 7 nights and got nothing to complain except the bidet in toilet not functioning.
AAnonymous UserOnly downside was the central heating but hotel was quick to assist and provided standing fan. Excellent location to shop and eat. Breakfast was wonderful by the way
